On Saturday 6th September 2025 we held a very enjoyable and successful Garden Party Lunch with a Polish theme.
Our lovely host Debbie Pickford, seen here on the right with former Cherwell District Council Leader Diana Edwards, managed to provide a wonderful spread of 14 different dishes for us to enjoy. In this she was ably assisted by Val, Sandra, Krys and some Polish friends who were unable to attend.

The sumptuous buffet spread included typical dishes such as pierogi, hunter’s stew, savoury pancakes, Polish salad, Grandma’s rice salad, fish stew and two different versions of Polish cheesecake.

We were especially pleased to welcome our local MP Calum Miller and his research assistant Councillor Gemma Coton to our gathering.

A fine time was had by all and the sum of £200 was added to the Twinning Association’s account to help fund our activities. Many thanks to everyone who came and made donations.
